Client Name: Lightspeed Broadband

Brief: Lightspeed Broadband required a custom EV Charger installation at their Spalding Head Office due to the companies’ investment of electric and hybrid vehicles for their fleet. The installation required custom branded EV Charger Points and a low energy lighting solution on a ‘blank canvas’ car park.

EV Charging Points: Lightspeed Broadband required an EV Charger that was simple to use, reliable and had solar integration with custom branding. DJS Electrical Services provided and installed 5 MyEnergi Zappi 22kw points with integration of EV Blocks pre-cast concrete base.

Lighting: The lighting aspect of the project required a solution which fitted with the aesthetics of the existing building whilst providing a modern low energy LED lighting energy solution. 9 Ansell commercial bollard lights were installed with control via a dusk til dawn sensor and timer to prevent waste from energy when the offices are unoccupied throughout the night. Additionally, DJS Electrical Services also provided power to two entrance and roadside light signs.

Electrical: Due to the building only having an existing single-phase supply it was required the building be upgraded to a 3 phase supply to meet the customer requirements for fast charging. A 100amp 3-phase supply was brought from the building into a new GRP enclosure to house all distribution and control for the new charging and lighting solutions.
